Job Description:
- Provide general database administration support for production and internal databases infrastructure, including troubleshooting continuous optimization of structures
- Plan, analyze, implement and support database and data warehouse systems
- Work with software engineers on schema design and SQL optimization
- Analysis and implementation of new database requirements
- Accurately estimates task effort and communicate progress
Candidate's profile:
- Expert knowledge of SQL Server 2005/2008
- Expert knowledge of Replication and mirroring
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a must
- Knowledge of setting up SQL infrastructure for distributed environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL for programming stored procedures and triggers
- Experience with implementing, maintaining, tuning, and deploying SQL solutions
- Extensive performance tuning and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with database backup and recovery
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Good English language skills
