On behalf of our client, a large international company, we are currently looking for candidates interested in a position of DB2 Specialist.
Location: Warsaw
Job type: long-term contract (B2B)
DB2 z/OS Database Administrator specialist will work on many aspect of DB2 z/OS infrastructure administration in complexed DB2 environments.
An ideal candidate:
• Fully understands various aspects of DB2 z/OS database administration and has strong DB2 z/OS DBA skills
• Has working knowledge of DB2 data sharing groups
• Provide DB2 infrastructure support
• Works with application projects to manage and implement changes
• Collaborates with application DBAs to ensure delivery of database components
• Provides support with various backup/recovery scenarios
• Proficient in SQL tuning
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems
• Able to analyze and solve production issues quickly and effectively
• Has at least good English skills
