About our client
Our client forms part of one of the most well-known banking groups in Europe and is a leading financial institution specialising in the SME and Corporate client segments. Due to their further growth in Poland, they are currently seeking to recruit a Debt Collection Specialist to be responsible for foreign claims. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the collection process for clients located abroad.
Job description
- Monitor payments by Polish and foreign clients
- Engage in debt collection activities - mainly telephone contact in English with financial departments of medium and large enterprises located abroad
- Monitor and manage the debt collection process (telephone contact, preparation of relevant documentation, negotiations and debt restructuring, signing of covenants)
- Negotiate the terms and conditions of payments
- Maintain contact with business partners located both in Poland and abroad
- Liase with various departments across the organisation including sales and risk
Who we are looking for
- Educated up to university degree level
- Min. 2 years of experience in debt monitoring and collection gained in a financial institution (trade finance, factoring, liability insurance companies preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance documentation will be an asset
- Strong time management skills
- Open and outgoing personality
- Positive attitude
- Very good / fluent English and Polish are essential
