Deputy Chief Accountant

Responsibilites
Local Accounting:
- preparation of monthly and annual accounts in accordance with Polish Accounting (fast closing 5-7 working days).
- daily accounting records in OEBS, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel expenses, banking processes, payroll etc
- preparation of the registers (sales/purchase registers, VAT register) according to the accounts
- sending input data to payroll outsource Company and review of payroll report received from it
- dealing with the banks, local tax / regulatory authorities, customers, vendors etc.
- preparing financial statements: balance sheet, Profit & loss, Cashflow
- coordination with external auditors and ensuring smooth audit process
- coordination with external tax advisors
- monthly control over balances - timely expenses accrual and matching payments with expenses
- monitoring changes in local accounting and providing this information to Finance Department
Corporate reporting:
- preparation of breakdowns and notes and providing this information to Finance Department
- coordination with business management and ensuring all information is provided on time
- ensuring that correct project names and budget items are entered into system
- calculation of ICO invoices amounts and ensuring proper cost allocation between Luxoft Poland and other companies of the Group
- preparation of accruals, calculation of reserves and provisions
- preparation of reconciliation templates and reporting all non-routine transactions
- budget control in Purchase request system
- planning of expenses for operational segment on annual basis
- perform other tasks by request of Finance Department
Treasury:
- providing information about ICO invoices for timely transfer of funds
- liaising and working with Treasury department of Luxoft, preparing operational Cash flow reports and forecasts on a monthly basis
Requirements
Must have:
- finance/accounting degree
- knowledge of PSR (Polish Accounting Standards)
- understanding of US GAAP/IFRS
- understanding of management accounting
- OEBS or other ERP experience
- formal certification to undertake accounting as independent accountant
- proven experience of providing independent book-keeping services with responsibility for all aspects of client company's accounts
- excellent English both written and spoken
- reliability, diligence, precision, accuracy and attention to detail
- strong analytical and technical skills and problem-solving attitude
- good team-working, planning and organisation skills
- ability to quickly acquire knowledge
