We’re looking for a Design Engineer to join our R&D team in Poznań and help create next-generation unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). You’ll be involved in the entire design cycle — from concept to real product — working on advanced technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What is your Day to Day Mission:
- Design & Development
- Create UAV designs using CAD systems (SolidWorks or similar).
- Perform structural and aerodynamic calculations, including FEM analysis.
- Work with composite materials and additive manufacturing technologies.
- Prototyping & Testing
- Participate in building prototypes, conducting tests, and refining designs.
- Integrate electronic systems, propulsion units, sensors, and payloads into the overall design.
- Documentation & Collaboration
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation: drawings, specifications, and requirements.
- Cooperate with manufacturing teams to ensure design compliance and implement updates.
What you bring you to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in a design engineering role in a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD systems (SolidWorks or equivalent).
- Maintenance of design and related documentation.
- Understanding of aerodynamics and practical knowledge of engineering mechanics.
- Understanding the principles of electronic component integration.
- Practical experience in prototype development and collaboration with production teams.
- A systematic approach to completing tasks and analysing potential problems
- Full professional proficiency in the English language
Would be a plus:
- Proven experience in designing aircraft, UAVs, or similar products.
- Experience with composites (preferred) and additive manufacturing.
- Experience with military or civil UAVs.
- Knowledge of certification standards (MIL-STD, ISO, DIN, DSTU).
- Basic knowledge of electronics, control, and navigation systems.
- Knowledge in the field of surveying drones, photogrammetry and lidar data evaluation is an advantage.
