Client description:

Our Client is a world's provider of advanced aerospace products and technology.

Role summary:

• Provide design support through all stages of the design process, from proposal preparation through design development and detail design to manufacture, qualification and 'in service' within a multi-disciplinary Engineering team.
• Report to the Engineering Manager/Technical Lead of the multi-disciplinary PIM team for day to day management.
• Be responsible to the Chief Design Engineer for the quality and integrity of his/her work.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Produce high integrity manufacturing package deliverables (detail drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists etc.)
• Develop design concepts and configurations of a wide range of actuation systems products which may consist of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical or mechanical elements.
• Be involved in problem solving activities throughout the manufacturing, qualification and 'in service' phases of the project.
• Ensure design work undertaken is conducted in accordance with engineering procedures and work instructions
• Provide Design engineering support and direction for student placements and students on work experience within the multi-disciplinary project team.
• Liasing with customers and suppliers to resolve product design issues.

Wymagania:

• Graduated from Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or others relevant)
• Preferable 7 years of experience from engineering of aerospace products
• Very good English
