Dev Ops-Firmware Engineer

Main tasks:
- local site support for ClearCase, Artifactory, and TeamCity,
- scripting support in python and other scripting languages to support the build environment,
- as needed, write unit test scripts in python to support development team test needs,
- drive problems toward resolution amidst ambiguity,
- works effectively both independently and in a team environment to deliver solutions in a fast paced environment,
- other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering,
- a minimum of 2 years of dev ops experience,
- a minimum of 3 years experience with Python,
- experience in setting up and managing software development server hardware and software, specifically on Microsoft Windows and Linux,
- this position will be working in a complex, multi-national multi-site embedded software and software organization so this individual must speak, read and write English fluently,
- some after-hours support are required,
- this is a support position so a service-oriented attitude is required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- C/C++ experience in the development of real-time products.
- experience implementing test frameworks in python or other scripting language,
- experience with formal, automated unit and integration testing of software / firmware,
- experience automating IT infrastructure / operating system using configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef,
- experience with ClearCase, TeamCity and Artifactory, but experience with other SCM systems (i.e. Git, SVN, Mercurial), continuous integration build managers (i.e. Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo), and artifact repositories (i.e. Nexus, Archiva) would be just as relevant,
- a minimum of 3 years experience with APIs and modular software design.
