Digital Marketing Specialist

Role overview:


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join an exciting, innovative and growing brand within the payments industry.  You will be responsible for managing and executing our digital content requests across Europe. With your understanding of online user experience, digital best practice and search, you will be maintaining a dynamic web presence; ensuring high quality, engaging and audience-appropriate content that is search engine optimised. Working in a supportive and collaborative environment, there is opportunity to progress within the team as we grow and expand over time. To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience in digital content strategy to drive new customer acquisition and increased customer engagement, including experience with content management systems (particularly Sitecore and AEM) and SEO tactics.


Main responsibilities:
  • Supporting the EU Digital Marketing Manager to grow and develop the content marketing strategy across our 5 key European markets – UK, Ireland, Norway, Germany and Poland.  
  • Working with internal stakeholders to create and maintain high quality and engaging content that is search engine optimised.
  • Analysing and monitoring the performance of the content via feedback loops with stakeholders and using reporting tools such as Google Analytics to assess performance.
  • Implement search optimisation tactics, including improving keyword frequency within our content and implementing H1 and meta data recommendations.
  • Managing stakeholder content requests and delivering tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • Upload new content onto websites via CMS platforms and manage content approval process.
  • Creating reporting dashboards to measure performance and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Working with offshore development team to improve page functionality and resolve coding issues.
Experience & Skills required:
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong organisational skills
  • CMS experience – Sitecore, AEM
  • Search Engine Optimisation experience
  • Tracking and Analytics - Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixed Panel
  • Great relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Clear understanding of content generation and marketing
  • The ability to work under pressure, organise and multi task
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written and persuasion skills
  • Capacity to take initiative and seek responsibility
