Department Overview
Protecting mission-critical systems around the globe and providing expertise and support in using and troubleshooting DIMETRA cybersecurity products and services is the mission of the Dimetra Security Update Service team. The team based in Krakow is responsible for testing, delivery, and support of security patches for Motorola Solutions DIMETRA systems as well as maintaining the vetting lab where all the updates are applied and tested before they are released to our customers. The Dimetra Security Update Service team is also the escalation point for Technical Support Operations EMEA & APAC for cybersecurity-related customer cases. The team collaborates with others inside and outside of the Centralized Managed & Support Organization in order to achieve business goals and maintain world class service delivery, as well as work directly with customers to continuously support them and adjust service delivery processes to address evolving requirements of mission-critical systems and their cybersecurity stance.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical and Test Lead passionate about systems/software testing and automation, as well as someone who is also interested in developing his/her technical as well as cross-team collaboration skills and driving his/her career towards the world of cybersecurity and public safety. The team is located in Motorola Solutions Krakow Design Centre. The ideal candidate would be familiar with the Dimetra system, and be willing to face different challenges.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT
- Experience with TETRA/DIMETRA systems
- Experience with using and configuring operating systems (Windows/Server, Linux) with focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Knowledge of virtualization concepts and software (ESXi, Linux KVM. Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and Q&A best practices
- Basic knowledge of various cybersecurity concepts like Anti-Virus, Patching, Intrusion Detection etc...
- Knowledge of TCP/IP stack and related concepts (VLAN, DHCP, DNS, FTP, SSH etc.)
- Familiarity with network equipment, e.g.: switch, router, firewall and troubleshooting networking issues
- Very good analytical skills
- Familiarity with some of the tools: JIRA, TestRail, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Tenable.sc/Nessus, ESET antivirus software, RSA Authentication Manager, vyOS, Elastix/Asterisk, VMware ESXi, Red Hat KVM
- Ability to work under pressure of time and within tight delivery schedules
- Ability to guide others in delivering optimal results
- Self-motivated and driven in using already acquired skills and acquiring new skills
- Knowledge of Agile working methodologies
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
