The main responsibilities are design, development and maintenance of embedded software dedicated to mobile platforms based on Linux/Android operating systems. Dealing with the most recent SW and HW on the market, touching the latest technologies of mobile phones, wearables and platforms. Supporting customers in multinational and agile project groups and also directly joining customer teams at their premises.
You will learn, develop and contribute to the following area or its parts:
- Telephony – Telephony applications and framework layers, cooperating with teams and other parts of the system like Modem RIL, Modem RTOS, SIM/SAT, GSM/UMTS/LTE/GPRS/LTE and/or WCDMA signalling, platform bring-up and stabilization, embedded and/or real time systems
- Experience in working with Telephony stack (Voice calls, Messaging, Video calls)
- Knowledge of GSM / WCDMA and/or LTE
- BSc, MSc, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related technical area
- Good Java programming skills
- 2+ years of academic, OSS or commercial experience in Linux, RTOS or other embedded software development
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Android development (app and framework layers)
- Elements of Java (e.g. JNI)
- IMS services, such as VoLTE, ViLTE, RCS and ePDG
- Working experience with 3GPP specifications (e.g. 25.331, 24.008, 31.111)
- Modem/Network signalling knowledge in L1/L2/L3 layers
- Activity in Linux or Android OSS, other contributions to open source community
