Who are we looking for?
- 3 - 5 years of Vulnerability Management experience
- Required certifications or equivalent experience:
- CISSP, CISM
- Detailed understanding of one of the following areas:
- Enterprise architecture, WAN/LAN infrastructure, Vulnerabilities, Security Bulletins, Software/Firmware Publisher Patch Distribution Websites
- Ability to translate technical issues to business language
- Experience with IT Service Management in line with IT industry standards and best practices, e.g. ITIL process experience
- Experience with Enterprise Vulnerability Management tools
- Detail oriented and analytical
- Excellent communication skills, customer facing experience
- Preferred experience:
- Knowledge or working experience with Enterprise Vulnerability Management tools
- Knowledge or working experience with IBM BigFix or similar
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (i.e. CSC Top 20, ISO27001)
Please mind that this role will work on rotational shifts: European and USA hours. The hours will be discussed with candidates during the phone interview.
What will you do?
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support the team members
- Collaborate with security program managers to identify and resolve gaps and issues
- Manage and distribute workload to ensure SLAs and deadlines are met; report team metrics
- Process and address software/firmware vulnerabilities, remediations, and patches from publishers
- Document vulnerability remediations and patches for software/firmware
- Create and maintain mitigation plans to ensure software/firmware unable to be patched is mitigated
- Occasionally execute ad-hoc vulnerability scans and communicate results to support new implementations
- Identify and solicit team feedback for improvements and optimizations to the security patching and remediation process
- Drive process improvement panels for maturing the security program and processes
