Your tasks:
- Contribute to and execute on practical architecture strategy to ensure alignment with the company goals
- Shape digital strategy by supporting strategic projects (local & global) and influencing prioritization of change initiatives
- Engage in effective international collaboration within Architecture Community of ING Units worldwide
- Oversee multiple functional domains and overlook these domains content wise for the medium and long term. Safeguard the cross-dependencies (consistency) among domains.
- Drive the creation and realisation of Architecture Roadmaps to support the changing business needs
- Analyse overlap, dependencies and impact of change on all relevant stakeholders. Present to stakeholders on how architectural options will meet their needs.
- Create and monitor Standards, Rules and Guidelines (SRG), Reference Architectures (RA’s) and Cookbooks on Enterprise-level
- Actively track relevant external developments and innovations in the Banking- and IT-Industry and translate these into concrete solutions which contribute to greater strategic movement of ING technology landscape
- Help business leaders and their teams think through the technology, business and operational implications of their technology investment decisions
Our expectations:
1. Required:
- University graduate of Computer Science/IT- related field
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture or application architecture
- Strong understanding of software, hardware, architecture frameworks, and corporate technology and trends (e.g., SOA, IOT, ETL, cloud architectures)
- Proven experience and hands-on approach designing and integrating complex systems (supported by specific examples)
- Ability to present and communicate both business and technical concepts
- Fluent English
2. Preferred:
- Demonstrated technology skills across multiple IT domains (e.g. application, security, infrastructure)
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
- Keeps up with industry trends and emerging technologies
- A good understanding of Enterprise Architecture methodologies and knowledge of usage Design Tools
3. Desired:
- Experience proposing practical strategies and present originality with the help of technology
- Practical knowledge of SDLC/Agile methods
- Knowledge about risk management and business continuity - at both business and IT levels
- Strong consultative skills at a cross-functional level
