As the ETL/BI Consultant you will:
- Design and implement medium and large scale Data Warehouses, Management Information Systems, analytical repositories (CRM, subject oriented Data Marts) and operational data stores
- Design and implement data migration and conversion processes for medium and large scale Enterprise Transformation Projects
- Design logical and physical data models for normalized and multidimensional repositories
- Design and implement ETL processes
- Design and implement tools, processes and methods supporting Data Quality monitoringand management
- Assess ETL processes performance, recommend improvements and fine tuning
- Plan, prepare and execute automated and manual tests of ETL processes
Qualifications
- Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunication
- Minimum1 year of experience with design and implementation of Decision Supporting Systems (Data Warehouse, Management Information System, subject oriented DataMarts) in ETL and data modeling areas
- Solid knowledge of multidimensional modeling patterns including fact tables, slowly changing dimensions, star and snowflake schemas
- Solid knowledge of one or more of the leading RDBMS platforms (e.g. Oracle, DB2, MSSQL Server). Solid knowledge of Teradata would be considered as an additional asset.
- Knowledge of one or more of column oriented RDBMS platform (e.g. Netezza, SAP IQ and HANA) would be considered an asset
- Solid knowledge in physical data model design
- Excellent command of SQL
- Extensive knowledge of one or more leading ETL platforms (e.g. Informatica PowerCenter, AbInitio, IBM Data Stage, Oracle Data Integrator, SAS Data Integration Studio,Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services)
- Solid and practice knowledge related to ETL processes and architectures: operations metadata, surrogate keys management, data quality monitoring, data cleaning and conforming, data lineage, etc.
- Knowledge of banking services business and operating model would be considered an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with theability to creatively untangle complex issues and develop innovative and efficient solutions within a narrow time frame
- Very good knowledge of English - level enabling fluent communication with the client
- Ability to meet travel requirements when applicable. Head office is located in Warsaw
