Join the client from the banking sector and work in Database & Reporting departament as ETL Developer at now remotely, after Covid 19 in Gdańsk or Warszawa. The position may require after Covid 19 some occasional travel to Nordic countries.
You will work closely with the analysts, developers, testers and product owner to build and develop the absolute best possible applications for our business stakeholders. This is an opportunity for you to build advanced technical solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating high quality code in applications
- Managing the software development lifecycle, including implementing new features and bug fixing
- Using leading edge technologies, in order to develop high performance real-time systems processing a large number of transactions daily
- Be a sparring partner for the IT Analysts and Business Analysts in planning, designing and creating the applications
- Contribute to continuous improvements by developing processes and suggesting the best approach based on your own experience
- Both implementing new systems and expanding capabilities of existing applications
REQUIREMENTS:
- You have at least 2-4 years of experience with ETL Tools (DataStage or Informatica)
- Good knowledge and experience with data warehouses (modelling, implementing, reporting etc.)
- Good knowledge and experience with relational databases such as Oracle (or similar)
- Experience in system analysis, design, and software development cycles on an enterprise level
NICE TO HAVE:
- You have experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g: Power BI, QlikView, etc.)
- Knowledge of Oracle databases and ability to read/write PL/SQL are a huge benefit
- Ability to read and create files in XML, FPML, CSV format
- Experience with technologies, such as: Spark, Java, Kafka, Spring, MQ, etc.
- Atlassian stack: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.
- You know the agile working method (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
