The role of the Embedment BA is to be accountable and ensure embedment of the solution in Treasury Strats occurs seamlessly. The successful candidate for this role will be a key member of the Overall Liquidity Adequacy Rule (OLAR) project team, and will be primarily responsible for Treasury Strats solution roll out in all the major countries.
- Assist in defining and embedding any operating processes that is related to OLAR under Treasury Strats.
- Gather and document business requirements, and ensure these are adequately communicated to respective developers.
- Devise and communicate the roll-out plan to the country team. Ensure the roll-out plan is consistent with the overall project timeline.
- Perform UAT and liaise with development team to resolve any issues related to the testing, perform any additional validation on the fixes when required.
- Liaise between various parties (country team, regional team, project team) on any requirements / issues. Ensure these are tracked and resolved by project team.
- Own the communication channels (between country teams, developers and Treasury Modelling & Platforms teams). Ensure all the parties related to OLAR are aligned to progress of the project and key stakeholders well informed of key roles & responsibilities and assigned tasks.
- Ensure any change of process from country team is captured and properly documented; assist in the actual implementation of the process.
- Assist in the documentation of any related material such as user guide, training manuals, DOIs etc.
- Provide demos / training to the country team on the final solution and be the point of contact for country teams, Treasury M&P for all embedment related queries of Treasury Strats.
- Fluent English
- 5-8 years of experience of business analysis and roll-out of global system / software solutions to different countries
- Understanding of liquidity risk management and liquidity stress testing
- Experience in working with developer and front line business people on supporting embedment of software solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
- Work experience in end-to-end change management
- Understanding of Bank systems architecture; ideally knowledge of SCB-specific architecture
- Prior experience with Balance Sheet Management platforms (Moody's Analytics, QRM, Oracle, etc.) or booking platforms (Murex, Kondor, etc.) is an advantage
The primary objective of the role is to drive balance sheet optimization delivery of through analytic solutions for front office Treasury Market dealers. The candidate should be the key driver and promoter for the use of analytical tools in balance sheet management and strategy formulation in the countries within his/her scope.
The successful candidate will work closely with Treasury Risk Managers and Liquidity Dealers to drive operational efficiencies, helping reduce reliance on time-consuming processes. Plus, promote centralization and automation of standardized and analytical solutions.
