Your main area of responsibility in this position will include:
Strategic:
- data analysis of 'as is' and 'to be' Merchandize related processes in Accounting and Database systems
- leading and coordinating standardization projects
- methodology wise assistance provided to technical team to maintain development and implementation of the tools
- creating and updating documentation for the tools
- conducting training sessions to educate employees on the tools usage
- identification of potential areas for improvement in the processes
- supporting change management initiatives including cooperation with Metro Group entities from different locations
Operational:
- cooperation with operational team members (across different Metro Group entities) to understand processes, root causes and outcomes
- cooperation with operational teams within initiatives leading to increase efficiency and quality
- supporting operational teams in other projects caried out at GSC Szczecin
We are inviting to this recruitment everyone who has:
- University degree (in the field of controlling, accounting or economics),
- at least 2 years of experience in Controlling and/or Accounting area,
- fluent knowledge of English,
- well advanced analytical skills,
- fluent knowledge of MS Excel,
- at least mid-level knowledge of SAP,
- practical ability to manage projects,
- highly developed interpersonal skills,
- professional experience in the field of optimization accounting processes,
- knowledge of Google Big Query or other data warehouse will be an advantage.
