Zadania:
- plans,develops and manages company policies for adhering to local, stateand federal environment, health and safety regulations,
- reportto Global Director Facilities RiskManagement
- designsand develops environmental and loss prevention work practicespolicies and procedures,
- contributesto preparation, maintenance, and updating of environmental policy andprocedure manuals,
- ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safetyregulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulationsthat impact the organization,
- ensures projects are completed on timeand within budget,
- management and oversight of theEnvironmental Management System (EMS) to assure across the boardconformance to the ISO 14001 standard, the requirements of therespective registrars, and company policies, procedures, andobjectives and targets,
- provide input and coordination forplant level Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)/Safety Data Sheets(SDS's) and hazardous materials inventory management process andprocedures,
- manage and oversee contractorsrequired for environmental investigation and remediation projects,including bid and specification process,
- relies on experience andjudgment to plan and accomplish goals,
- manages and/or directs the work of others,
- assists Global Director, FacilitiesRisk Management in fulfillment of insurance and facility riskmanagement related assignments for European facilities,
- performs related duties and specialprojects as assigned,
- creates and maintains data base andphysical record for site and facility blueprints, surveysand related records,
- develops and presents training andmaterials for plant level personnel on environmental complianceand loss prevention topics.
Wymagania:
- bachelor's degree and at leastsome year of experience in the field or in a related area,
- experience working within the OSHAS18001 certification,
- training and certification in ISO14001 auditing and related areas,
- strong leadership and training skills,
- awide degree of creativity,
- proficient computer skills andabilities with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint,etc),
- fluent in English. Other EU languages and knowledge of environmentalregulations are desirable,
- valid passport with flexibility totravel frequentl,
- ability to travel (including air travel and automobile trips),
- ability to work at a personalcomputer for extended periods of time.
