Requirements:
- BA or MBA in business administration with focus on financial accounting or finance/ taxes
- At least 5 years of experience in finance and accounting
- Highly familiar with accounting rules according to IAS/IRFS and German HGB (German accounting law)
- Fluent in German and in English
- Experience in SAP FI
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities:
As a Finance & Accounting Manager you will work independently and under your own responsibility in the field of finance and accounting.
Based on your expertise you will develop control information and action recommendations for leaders, controlling and management; coordinate area-specific projects and provide proposals for result and cost improvements as well as further develop business methods and their implementation.
You will attend to business-related questions and solution proposals, work on projects and with work groups, oversee area-specific IT systems and provide professional guidance to assigned employees.
Main tasks:
- Administer independently financial accounting of different group companies
- Advise companies in matters of group financing and individual financial statements, respectively. Act as key contact person for commercial departments of assigned companies in all accounting matters
- Develop solution proposals to question concerning individual financial statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual individual financial statements based on the IAS/IFRS group policies as well as the HGB
- Process cost accounting accrual within a given financial year
- Prepare data for tax return statements
- Monitor and analyze statutory and collectively agreed regulations, as well as regulations under the works constitution, and other technical regulations and provisions in order to initiate necessary workflow adjustment measures and implement program frameworks and work instructions
- Offer expert advice on current account balance and support assigned departments in group companies
- Act as a key contact person for auditors as well as central accounting and tax departments
- Prepare statistical analysis as a part of external processing of different reports and announcements; contribute to corporate reporting for various panels (e. g. supervisory board or economic committee)
- Provide ideas for group-wide process optimization and adjustment initiatives
- Further develop existing processes and procedures; contribute to SAP-FI and FI-AA module development as well as oversee and authorize tests for release upgrades, interface connections and company migrations
- Take on additional tasks and projects
