Job description
- Ability to carry out Finance Accounting and Reporting activities - complex activities, judgmental cases, approvals in the areas mentioned for FAR Specialist and FAR Senior Specialist
- Process oversight - review and control of the processes and data provided, assure quality within the process from the below areas:
- Bookings and reconciliation performed
- Performed various closing activities including: FX-revaluation, deferred income tax, regrouping, etc.; Currency Balance sheet
- Group reporting (IFRS, Irish GAAP, Solvency II)
- External reporting
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Regulatory reporting
- General accounting
- Liason with local organizations.
- Key contact for process discussions and changes to be implemented.
Candidate’s profile
- University degree - finance and accounting, economy
- Analytical skills, passion for detail, reliability, “can do” attitude, goals driven, flexibility,
- At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience
- At least 3 years of people management experience
- Practical accounting experience in GL, reporting, data analysis area
- Very good written and oral communication skills in English
- Good accounting knowledge GL/ international accounting standards.
- Knowledge of insurance/financial services legislation and regulations as an additional asset
- Accounting certification as an additional asset
