Your Responsibilities:
GSK Finance Hub in Poznan is a new Finance team and one of 3 regional GSK Finance Hubs which will be at the heart of the new GSK Finance Operating Model. In addition to driving the performance of our partner delivering all accounting transactional activities offshore, the Hub will be the home for Close and Control activities for most European markets as well as deliver more complex accounting activities such as Production Accounting.
How you will contribute to our success:
- Establish yourself as a trusted partner for key business stakeholders
- Actively contribute to the success of finance projects
- Manage a team of Financial Controllers
- Report of financial results for a cluster of entities
- Provide oversight & direction for all aspects of the financial month end review process
- Consolidation, analysis and interpretation of cluster results
- Own the Cluster balance sheets
- Contribute into Cluster business review meetings as appropriate
- Oversight of statutory account process, external and internal financial audits
- Actively manage risk and ensure compliance including SOX environment
- Drive improvement to the delivery of cluster financial reporting & analysis
Why You?
- Basic qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Experience in financial controlling and/or financial reporting (at least 10 years)
- Team management experience
- Fluent English (minimum C1)
- Strong expertise in IFRS
- Thrive in a fast-paced, modern working environment
- Ability to build and manage relationship with senior stakeholders
- Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and availability to travel to take part in the migration process
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in a SOX environment
- Second European language
