Your new role
This role will serve as the key financial liaison to support Regional, Business and Country Controllers and finance business partners and the broader Finance function. This position will also be responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of the business planning team members, including budgeting, forecasting and detailed financial analysis. The activities include monitoring, tracking and analyzing performance against plans and providing analysis and commentary for senior management decision support. The Manager will be expected to foster strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders as well as best practice sharing across the global partner teams and will ensure adherence to the global end-to-end planning process and technology design. You will also identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Key responsibilities:
Process Integrator
- Expand the team capabilities on end to end finance planning process in Europe in partnership with global organization and processes teams
- Ensures local application and user adoption of the standard Global Design, the work processes and master data.
- Actively participates in process forums with Global Process Owners and Business Process Management
Leadership and talent development
- Oversees planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities for a 10-15 member team with a pan European responsibility
- Responsible for hiring, training and mentoring the regional team based in Wroclaw, including the ability to attract and retain high caliber associates
- Accountable to strengthen the overall financial acumen of the team
- Drives continuous improvement and best practice sharing Regional Business partnership
- Prepare, update service level agreements with internal customers and tracks adherence to service level agreements with Finance Leaders and Finance Business Partners
- Ensures that Region and Business needs are recognized, aptly prioritised, and supported
- Ensure the accuracy of monthly reporting, quarterly projections, and annual budgets.
- Builds a strong analytics framework, looks for new ways to analyse the business and drive productivity

What you'll need to succeed
We expect a Degree in Finance/Accounting, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a focus on planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting. A minimum of 5 years of leading a large international Finance organization with multi country responsibility required. Strong knowledge of accounting policies and procedures including European and US GAAP standards expected. Experience developing and implementing multi-segment business plans and advanced forecasting and modeling abilities and expert level of understanding of planning tools. Should be adept with advanced reporting solutions with good understanding of SAP BPC and QlikView would be appreciated. Very good English and business communication skills are critical success factors.
