Our client is a major multinational company which manages construction and engineering projects mainly in the energy sector. As a result of new operations in Poland, they are currently looking to recruit a highly energetic, results-oriented individual for the role of Finance and Administration Manager.
- Manage the finances of the company's Polish operations and ensure that all internal controls and financial policies set by the Group are applied and adhered to
- Lead a team of two individuals including a Financial Accountant, and Treasurer
- Responsible for the financial reporting process according to IFRS and local Polish GAAP
- Analyze financial statements to effectively manage costs
- Work closely with financial controller to ensure compliance to group standards
- Prepare financial projections for short and long-term forecast
- Manage treasury operations including cash flow management, as well as contact with banks and other external institutions
- Work with external consultants to manage all local tax compliance requirements
- Degree in Business Economics/Administration; Professional qualification a plus (CIMA, ACCA)
- 3-5 years of experience in progressive audit roles with Big 4 Finance consulting firms
- Ability to provide clear leadership and motivate people
- Strong mix of technical financial knowledge along with commercial acumen
- Understands key business drivers and proactively seeks out opportunities and recommends solutions that can be effectively supported
- Experience with the use of information technology to effectively satisfy business needs (SAP experience preferred)
- Passionately strives to achieve results; energetic and high level of dedication
- Strong knowledge of various cultures and international ways of doing business
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Polish and English; Spanish is a big plus
