Currently, for our client, a global logistics company, which has recently launched a Shared Service Centre in Warsaw, we are urgently seeking candidates for the position of Financial Accountant with German.
Working on the position of Financial Accountant, you will be a part of a global multinational team specializing in the area of AP/ AR or GL processes. Currently, we are looking for Candidates to perform the role of GL and Reporting Accountant. Performing this role you will take part in in-depth knowledge trainings and process transitions from the Clients all over the world.
Main duties regarding general ledger will involve preparation of journal vouchers, maintenance and reconciliation of GL accounts, ensuring smooth and timely closing of the books at month end, preparation of financial reports, execution of SOX controls for financial processes, internal and external reporting. The successful Candidate will also be responsible for ensuring proper asset accounting according to IFRS and local GAAP, development of alternatives and recommendations for capitalization and depreciation of assets.
An ideal Candidate has previous professional experience in accountancy (AP/ AR/ GL area). Very good knowledge of German is required. At least good English is a must as well as perfect knowledge of SAP and Excel, while SSC/ BPO experience would be an advantage.
