For our Client, company based in Gdańsk, we are currently looking for experienced candidates on the position of Financial Controller, based in Gdańsk.

Your typical tasks will include: Providing expertise in questions such as local financial and taxation requirements, Ensuring that the reporting figures give a true and fair view of company’s financial position and is in compliance with Corporate guidelines and local legislation (corporate manual, accounting manual, local legislation, directives, etc), Managing treasury and bank transactions according to group guidelines and local rules & regulations, Implementing Finance related improvements from audit reports and ensure internal control reporting is executed in proper way, Providing reports and conduct analysis on the balance sheet and financial performance, Ensuring that the company’s global initiatives, processes and tools are implemented locally, Participating in developing processes and tools in planning, reporting and financial control, Initiating actions to improve financial performance and monitor, evaluate financial risks, Cooperating with relevant stakeholders, such as business responsible people, group control, shared service centers etc., Coordinating and monitor performance of shared services centers and outsourcing companies, Supporting in local legal entity governance issues.

An ideal Candidate should have 2-3 years’ experience in accounting, controlling, financial reporting, master degree in Accountancy & Finance or Economics (with CPA, ACCA, MBA preferred), be familiarized with P&L, balance sheet, finance possess management, advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel and Access). Good command of English is a must.
