Reporting directly to the EMEA Financial MDM Manager, this role is responsible for performing Finance master data maintenance for all in-scope ERP’s in the timely and efficient execution. The Data Governance Financial Master Data Analyst ensures that requirements are met with consistency, identifies gaps in process execution, and provides increased value to the Financial Systems CoE organization and business partners. He/She will also support the integration of new organizations within the company.
- Accountable for Master Data operational support and maintenance across the SBD Global Landscape (FICO) including but not limited to GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Mapping Logic/tables
- Validate and complete all maintenance requests and mapping associated based on ERP set up
- Responsible to adhering to applicable policy, procedures, standards and internal controls
- Escalate issues further as needed to Manager, Finance Systems CoE Data Governance
- Recommend process improvements for master data maintenance processes with Global focus
- Participate in and actively support ERP integrations including acquisition of new businesses and divestitures; support for Finance master data maintenance activities and requirements
- Support implementation of Process Improvement initiatives for key Data/Risk areas
- Support metric compilation, reporting and root cause analysis
- Build and Maintain guidelines, playbook documents and other common sites that provide information to our customers
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Accounting/Business with 5+ years of experience OR equivalent combination of experience and education required
- Experience in working in shared services team is an added advantage
- Knowledge of SAP desired.Ability to learn Stanley’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Non ERP systems
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes
- Strong time management skills, ability to multitask and highly organized
- Excellent problem identification, prioritization and remediation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills including data mining, analysis, trending and writing accompanying commentary
- Understanding of sound internal control activities and practices
