Fixed Asset Accountant with German

Within this role you will be responsible for General Ledger transaction - processing in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with defined operating procedures, invoices administration - verification, controlling and processing, standard reports and process ad hoc requests, preparation of postings and transfer to SAP FI, closing the month reports, achieving performance objectives and contribution to process improvement initiatives. Moreover the role is connected with preparation and scheduling of projects for execution, including creation of project detail within the ERP system and asset master records, review of project budgets and delivery of standard CIP reporting, generally understood Fixed Accounting. To your tasks will belong project accounting- application of miscellaneous costs, foreign currency gains and losses, project reporting and reminders, finance project audits and financial closing transactions of the project, providing annual recommended list of fixed assets for verification in line with Finance Manual requirements and tracking reporting of core performance metrics.

The ideal candidate would have university degree in economics or business administration with major in accounting/finance and will have relevant working experience of at least 2 years. Desirable are also professional certifications as well as SAP and IFRS/tax regulation knowledge. Moreover, candidate would have high attention to detail and accurate working style. Customer service orientation and excellent communication skills will be required. Fluent German and English – both written and spoken are a must.
