You'll be working in the Risk IT team in Krakow for one of the leading investment banks. We will provide core platform services to Risk and Finance business divisions.. Together as team, we provide solutions to unique business/market requirements in line with the established Corporate IT Standards.
We are looking for software developer (hands-on, problem solver, technical expert) l to be able to:
- collaborate on proof-of-concepts, pilots, minimum viable products, business cases and quality control
- communicate to and influence stakeholders
- contributing to the design of the system by participating in the architecture and technical discussions with the team
- build and maintain applications in an Agile environment using Kubernetes & Azure Cloud
- document the provided resolutions
General Requirements
Understand, support and enhance Agile work practices such as small cohesive teams, team empowerment, automated CI/CD, MVP concepts, and hackathons.
Dive into an unfamiliar codebase to get familiar with the code and provide advice on making improvements.
Fluency in at least two of the following technology stacks:
- JVM: Scala, Java, or Kotlin
- Python
- R
- .Net: C#, Asp.Net, Blazor
- Web: Html, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, React
While you only need to know two of the above languages, we would like for a candidate whom can familiarize themselves with any missing ones quickly. A basic ability to read them, run an existing codebase, and making reasonable changes (Google-driven development) will be necessary.
- 3-5 years' experience of IT Architecture experience and general IT management competencies.
- Sound understanding of modern technologies (Big Data, AI/ML, Containers, Cloud Computing) is a requirement.
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure GCP, or AWS) and enabling cloud-native solutions.
