Fund Operations Team Leader
(within Reconciliation Department)

Job Summary:
In Reconciliation Department you will be responsible for comparing and agreeing two sets of records. Your goal will be to ensure that the figures in depositary banks are in agreement and are accurate to data in our Clients' accounting book. You will be also in charge of resolving or assigning for resolution all discrepancies between them.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and monitoring accounting team – making compensation decisions, ensuring staff career development, coaching and motivating team to constant process improvement in the following areas: accuracy, risk mitigation and process automation,
- Maintaining staffing requirements/allocation to meet operational needs,
- Ensuring timeliness and quality of the services provided by the team,
- Establishing and monitoring internal controls and ensuring accounting activities are in accordance with company policies,
- Developing partnerships with customers across the region,
- Supporting, stimulating and implementing initiatives aimed at process, quality and efficiency improvements,
- Maintaining and analyzing budget,
- Defining, driving and assisting in the implementation of corporate standards across the region,
- Completing other tasks as per management request.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in an accounting, banking or finance discipline,
- Experience in banking, particularly in operations,
- Proven experience in people management,
- Excellent knowledge of financial instruments and industry knowledge,
- Ability to initiate and drive projects to manage risk,
- Excellent organizational and planning skills,
- Fluent English (both verbal and written),
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills,
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
