Hays is currently supporting a start-up of a new Global Business Services organization in Kraków. Our client is a global multi-channel retailer with their HC in the US.
One of the top roles we are currently recruiting for is the GBS Site Leader.

This individual will be responsible for the initial creation and ongoing leadership of the Krakow GBS site and will lead all GBS teams on a day-to-day basis creating an environment and culture that fosters world class performance. Start-up responsibilities will include playing a key role in GBS centre strategy formulation, organization design, and prioritization of all related initiatives and decisions regarding people, process, technology and facility. Ongoing responsibilities will include managing delivery against performance targets established by the Governance Board and other key stakeholders through direct oversight of all SLA and performance metric commitments.

Successful candidate should have extensive experience in managing an existing GBS/SSC centre (or a large portion of one) that included multi-functional activities, knowledge of cost competitiveness and service excellence of all parts of GBS (using benchmarks, best practice comparisons) and demonstrate broad financial management experience with proven abilities to manage a large staff and to interact with individuals at all levels of an organization, including senior executive. Excellent people management and development skills are necessary as well as strategic thought leadership and a bility to drive continuous process improvement culture. Fluent communication in English is a must.
