Our client is a global organization that develops a Shared Service Centre in Warsaw, Poland. On behalf of the company we are looking for a General Accountant.
Your main responsibility as the General Accountant will be participation in month end closing activities, prepare, code and record journal entries, preparation of treasury forecast and update monthly account reconciliations. Within the role you will also be responsible for supporting audits and close cooperation with local subsidiaries.
In order to be successful on this position you should have Master’s Degree in economics/ finance related discipline with 2 years of experience in General Ledger. We seek a professional with excellent analytical and communication skills, very good knowledge of Excel and ability to work under pressure. Previous experience preparing Intrastat and VAT declarations is a strong advantage as well as knowledge of SAP. You need to speak fluent English.
