General Controller

General Controller will report to General Manager of hotel,  will be responsible for income control from sales services and management of financial-accounting matters to provide efficient running of the hotel and proper cooperation with Orbis Head Office. 

Key tasks:

• Preparation of budget and monthly review of profit and loss accounts
• Coordination of financial and accounting documentation workflow
• Ensure punctuality and perfection of information flow
• Monitor aging balance and bad debt collection in coordination with central support
• Recommendations of organizational solutions to improve work of hotel
• Implementation and proceeding of control and monitoring procedures
• Cooperation with Hotel Managers and the company Accounting Department in Head Office for effective management of information and  accounting matters
• Supervision of adherence to AccorHotels credit policy and organization of vindication
• Monitor and analysis of hotel operating costs
• Prepares statistics and reports related to sales, financial results and investment outlays

Requirements:

• At least  3 years of experience related to operational analysis / financial control area
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Higher education preferably in the field of Finance and Accounting
• Very good written and oral communication skills in English (at least B2 level)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Knowledge of specialized software (Opera, Materials Control) and experience in hospitality will be an asset
• Developed analytical and communication skills
• Accuracy and promptness in carrying out tasks
• Professionalism, sense of responsibility and propriety
