Our client – international company which provides consulting services all over the world is looking for candidates interested in working in Poznan on a position of GL Accountant with German.
Primary responsibilities include Perform transaction processing originating from credit memos, general ledger updates, accounts receivable, invoice or credit note posting, period end depreciation, provisions and accruals, cash discount reserves, management of the global chart of accounts and period close accounting (bank reconciliation, reclassification of A/P and A/R, Inventory obsolescence provisions). Moreover you will be responsible for record accounting for advertising and consumer promotion accruals and deferred expenses, record accounting for currency exposures, hedging and unrealized gains and losses and perform accounting for leased assets.
The ideal candidate would have university degree in economics or business administration with major in accounting/finance and will have relevant working experience of at least 3 years. Desirable are also professional certifications as well as SAP knowledge. Moreover, candidate would have high attention to detail and accurate working style. Customer service orientation and excellent communication skills will be required. Fluent German and English – both written and spoken are a must.
