On behalf of our Client, a global consulting company based in Warsaw, we are currently seeking Candidates for the role of GL ACCOUNTANT with LITHUANIAN.
Main responsibilities of GL ACCOUNTANT with LITHUANIAN will involve preparing and posting of journal entries, balance sheet accounts and intercompany reconciliations, preparation of accruals, pre-paid releases, posting of bank transactions, performing a high level review of both B/S and P/L for obvious errors, omissions or inconsistencies, managing the preparation of all compliance documentation as defined by the client, responsibility for SOX compliance within the team, and supporting audit of financial statements as required.
We are looking for a person who has a University Degree in Accountancy or related field, and at least two years of relevant experience in a similar role. Excellent language skills in Lithuanian and English (both written and spoken) are mandatory, as well as MS Office skills. Knowledge of GAAP's and SOX control and reporting standards/procedures is essential as well. Familiarity with an ERP system (Oracle) will be considered an advantage.
