For our client – an international, prestigious company based in Poznan, we are currently looking for a person interested in working on position of General Ledger Manager with English.
Key responsibilities would be focused on areas such as: continuous improvement such as support enhancing processes and ensure the team is involved in improvement projects, people management among team members of GL department including planning, monitoring, appraising, reviewing job contributions and good level of cost accounting and analytical skills of the team. Accounting (review of monthly results and overall account reconciliation process (AP/AR/GL), approving balance sheet reconciliations and approving manual entries in the ledgers and highlighting any exceptional items), analysis and data integrity within GL department as well as audits will also belong to your duties.
The ideal candidate should have University degree in Finance or Accounting, at least 7 years of experience in GL accounting and 3 years of experience in people Management. Proficiency in English is a must. Any other European language will be an advantage. We are looking for people with strong analytical and solid communication skills with ability to lead the people.
