For our Client – international, prestigious organization located in Robakowo near Poznan, we are currently looking for experienced Candidate for the position of General Ledger Accountant with German.
The key responsibilities are: performing period close activities, execute reports and postings according to German and Group standards as well as Fixed Assets accounting (activating and amortization bookkeeping). You will also be responsible for negotiating and bookkeeping of the open position on accounts and general ledger balance accounts. Moreover you will be responsible for tax bookkeeping (performing VAT and CIT tax declarations, VAT register negotiating). Maintaining contact with clients, process facilitations and cooperating with other company’s departments will be one of your priorities.
As ideal Candidate you should have a previous experience in accountancy area (preferable in general ledger) and an economics degree. Apart of that, you should speak German on advanced level and can operate computer software very well. Our client is looking for candidates with analytical skills, self-organized and fast entering into cooperation with other departments. Knowledge of tax regulations and accounting law would be an advantage.
