Responsibilities:
• support selection, negotiation, contracting and onboarding of transportation contract logistics and warehouse provider to set up and maintain a mature transports, contract logistics and warehouse network
• set up of routing orders and changes to assure efficient results in lead time, cost and compliancy
• order fulfillment of transportation (forward and reverse) and warehouse services based on the contractual agreements
• define and monitor early warning indicators and relevant KPI's (e.g. assure supply capabilities, availability, cost, on-time delivery, in transit, damage, losses, compliance) in cooperation with Network Operations Center (NOC)
• identify, monitor and mitigate risks, define and maintain continuity plans and insurance coverage together with Finance
• monitoring and assure export and import control, tax and trade compliance, transit monitoring
• design solutions and pricings for transportation, contract logistics and warehousing setup, and implement them
Qualifications:
• bachelor's or Master"s degree in Business Logistics or equivalent University degree in a Master/Bachelor of Science Program
• 5 years of working experience in international logistics (forward and reverse), warehousing and value added services with proven track report
• experience in air freight, express, parcel services of electronics or similar
• excellent knowledge of end-to end after sales processes and high expectations of customers is absolutely vital
• strong knowledge of international trading laws and standards/regulations (Incoterms, Import & Export Controls ...)
• proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (material management section) preferred
• excellent negotiation and contact management skills
• fluent English in addition to the local language
• willingness to travel (about 25%)
