You will be responsible for managing operations within the scope of tobacco leaf logistics activities, coordinating the supply of raw materials to JTI markets and third-party customers in collaboration with internal and external partners such as service suppliers, factories, markets, global logistics, finance, and R&D.
- Efficiently manage customer service and supply chain processes specific to tobacco leaf logistics using SAP4Hana and Transportation Modules.
- Ensure timely delivery of tobacco leaf products to dedicated markets and customers, adhering to JTI policies and procedures.
- Act as a central liaison between factories, suppliers, customers, markets, and logistics partners.
- Process purchase orders within SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage shipments and ensure continuous supply of tobacco leaf products.
- Coordinate with forwarders/carriers to establish transport documentation, both SAP and non-SAP.
- Support internal and external auditors with logistics-related inquiries.
- Review and provide feedback on logistics-related reports for compliance with internal controls.
- Collaborate with Finance on Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable and end-of-period closing activities.
- Review and approve release of blocked invoice documents from third-party/intercompany suppliers.
- Actively support Team with internal tools creation using lean methodology.
- High School Diploma and/or Commercial Diploma
- 2+ years of experience (Specialist) in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Customer Service, preferably in a multinational company or the tobacco industry
- Fluent in English (written & spoken); any other language is an asset
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems, as well as proficiency in MS Office
- Lean Six Sigma certification (any) or knowledge on Lean philosophy will be treated as strong asset
