Group Procurement Manager
Location: Katowice

Main tasks:
- build procurement strategy across categories and secure execution within local organizations,
- lead on strategic planning and implementation of cost/cash savings management,
- lead contract negotiations to ensure supplier and Coveris compliance,
- lead multi functional/site teams to ensure delivery of key performance criteria such as targeted cost of goods, lowest total cost of capital equipment, quality product,
- implement and manage changes and interventions to achieve cost/cash saving outputs,
- support to the Group Procurement Director as required,
- help develop a strong Procurement/Sourcing management and process at site level,
- continuously promote Procurement Function,
- operate in accordance with the highest standards of business ethics and integrity with all external sourcing,
- undertake any other reasonable task as required.
Requirements:
- more than 3 years Procurement or commercial or technical experience gained in a manufacturing environment. Preferred relevant category experience. Ideally a mixture of inventory and non-inventory experiences gained in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. For example; resins, freight, telecom, MRO, Capex, colourant and packaging,
- excellent Negotiator with proven ability to influence businesses and people not in direct control and ability to work within matrix structure,
- readiness to travel (within Europe) between 25 % to 50% of their time,
- educated to degree level preferably Economics, Business or Engineering.
