For our Client – international company setting up the GBS Centre in Kraków, we are currently looking for seasoned Shared Services / Outsourcing expert with proven track of career in leadership functions.
The purpose of the role is to implement, establish and grow the new Operations Centre and to provide the overall leadership and management of the unit ensuring the teams deliver high quality and efficient services to the businesses across the group. This will include the management and oversight of operational budgets, expenses and allocation of resources in support of the GBS strategy; and the establishment implementation and evaluation of the Centre goals, procedures and reporting. The Head of GBSC will collaborate with the appropriate senior stakeholders to develop future strategy and initiatives to advance the overall effectiveness of the Operations Centre and will direct the implementation and will be an inspirational leader who embeds the GBS vision into a new and growing team whilst actively seeking opportunities to create new end to end processes and simplify systems solutions to move to a single way of working. The Head of GBSC will enjoy working in a dynamic, fast moving and changing environment. The role is reporting to Director of Global Business Services
As part of the onboarding process successful Candidate will lead the development of the Transformation blueprint solution design to transform current processes to deliver a single solution. The Head of GBSC will lead the delivery of the Transformation programme, monitor overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate. Moreover the role is to ensure that the delivery of programme outputs to quality; on time and within budget, and is aligned to the overall the GBS Programme Integration plan as well as report progress of the Transformation programme at regular intervals to the Director of Global Business Services and relevant governance boards.
Successful Candidate will head up the Polish GBS Centre actively supporting the people and structural set up of the branch, will ensure effective communication with all GBSC stakeholders, lead the teams to develop a culture focused on customer service and continuous improvement and develop professional, engaged teams through performance management and training and development. Moreover he/she will ensure the teams feel connected as part of the total GBS structure, build a strong working relationship with the Heads of Functions/Delivery Leads and oversee and ensure service delivery, for all processes performed by the GBSC meeting agreed performance and quality targets.
Our Client is looking for experience of managing or implementing a shared services centre within a complex, large volume environment, as well as a proven track record of leading and inspiring cross cultural teams as a senior leader in a global organization. An ability to foster an effective work environment that encourages teamwork and employee growth as well as demonstrated exceptional customer service orientation in balancing between compliance and customer service. Moreover we seek experience with large operational budgets and proven ability to develop innovative approaches to complex issues. Experience in the development of business performance and compliance metrics is needed as much as multi-function background including understanding of Procurement, Finance, IT or other shared service solutions. An ability to communicate at all levels of the business with the gravitas to influence key stakeholders and experience of negotiating and managing performance against service level agreements is crucial.
