For our client, a leading global financial services firm that is currently expanding its operations in Poland, we are looking for motivated professionals to join the global HR team in the Warsaw office on the position of HR Generalist.
The chosen candidate will partner with the London team to cover a wide range of responsibilities, including delivering optimal HR service to line managers and employees while maintaining an open and efficient communication, ensuring local implementation of all HR policies and procedures and working closely with local management to drive people development and provide guidance on legal employment subjects and policy interpretation. Besides, the HR Generalist will be involved in the recruitment and onboarding process as well as coordinating international relocation and internal transfers. Other tasks on this position will be management of the leavers process and local payroll processes and salary administration in collaboration with the payroll team in London and external payroll provider. Last but not least, the selected candidate will manage year end compensation rounds, act as a local contact for employee benefits package and work on additional projects and strategies for the HR department.
Our client expects at least 4 years of professional HR experience in similar roles, including project management, preferably in an international banking environment, as well as broad knowledge of Polish labour law, social security and tax practices. Additional qualifications in human capital management and experience in people management will be an asset. As you will be cooperating with stakeholders locally and globally, high-level communication skills and customer orientation are required. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced international environment are absolutely desired. Fluency in Polish and English will be essential.
