Responsibilities:
The NPP Manager will be responsible for the purchase of Indirect goods & services for Technicolor's Home Entertainment Services business group throughout Europe and may support other entities from time to time. He or she will drive the procurement process and closely interact with multiple internal departments to assist and review business requirements as needed. In support of these responsibilities candidate will negotiate with suppliers on a regular basis, set and achieve cost reduction targets, examine prices, review and manage availability of products or services; compare scope of works and review alternatives to fulfill objectives. This person will be responsible for sourcing, cost saving, cost avoidance, and value enhancement initiatives associated with these procurements. Following is a general list of duties/requirements:
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and projects in an environment of competing priorities
- In line with Company business strategic objectives, lead the negotiations to select, appoint and steer a supply base that progresses the Company's objectives on quality, cost, delivery and innovation
- The NPP Manager is the first point of contact with suppliers for the purpose of negotiation of long term supply agreements and other contract negotiation. They are also the point of escalation for any breech of those agreements or required renegotiation
- Monitor, manage and report on achievements on key purchasing indicators in line with department requirements and rules. Be the single point of contact for Europe in report consolidation within NPP.
- Understand, evaluate, and implement Indirect and MRO spend best practices; Reviews requirements, selects sources and purchases a variety of indirect and MRO services, parts, and capital equipment
- Lead or participate in efforts to continuously improve purchasing dynamics related to the MRO / Indirect spend.
- Monitor, manage and report on all influences to cost and performance, including economic, legislative, political and environmental factors, conducting regular benchmarking to ensure the maintenance of competitive advantage
- Define and execute the sourcing strategy of Professional Services for TECHNICOLOR Group in Poland in the most efficient and cost effective manner consistent with the needs of the businesses
- Manage a sourcing portfolio value of about 30M€/year (Facilities Management, Utilities, Temporary Employment, Maintenance and Repair, Consulting, Telecom, Office Supplies, etc.
- Work in coordination with operational teams in Poland (2 different sites close to Warsaw) to identify requirements, formalize specifications (SLA), recommend and implement sourcing opportunities
- Organize and execute RFI & RFP into Technicolor sourcing tools, negotiate and optimize rates based on predetermined sourcing scenarios, submit sourcing recommendations to stakeholders and award suppliers accordingly
- Support Operations with occasional (spot) requirements and operational issues requiring suppliers escalation
- Negotiate and amend contracts with Legal Department support - Maintain suppliers contracts database
- Follow up execution and performance of suppliers contracts and indicators - Track compliance with contracts SLA and suppliers marketshares - Analyze and remedy deviations with SLA and sourcing targets
- Coordinate with other members of the Indirect Sourcing network (Commodity Managers / Territory Buyers) in order to deploy global sourcing strategies and achieve collective targets
- Report action plans progress and savings achieved
- Travel occasionally to meet internal network and suppliers
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent qualification and experience
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years Sourcing/Purchasing experience▪ Solid problem solving and decision making skills are required
- Comprehensive understanding of spare parts, capital equipment, services, temp labor & MRO.
- Market knowledge of Facility Management, Utilities, Maintenance and other Services related to industrial production
- Capable of leading regional negotiations for high value strategic supply contracts
- Ability to develop and understand legal contracts.
- Good understanding of product cost construction and the ability to interpret supplier costing sheets
- Independent, proactive results driven problem solver with proven ability to drive projects to a successful conclusion
- Team oriented and good communication and presentation skills are essential
- Flexibility to travel (Less than 10%)
- Good negotiating skills
