For our Client, worldwide recognized financial company we are currently searching for Infrastructure Solution Strategy Lead.
As a Solution Strategy Lead you will possess a strong background with virtualization, Servers, Operating Systems, Databases, Networks, and Storage. You would be expected to understand your clients' requirements, draw up technical specs and provide cost-efficient IT solutions using your expert knowledge of the Infrastructure/platform architecture.
You will be responsible for investigating new infrastructure technologies, providing technical governance over that products and providing service governance to new and existing products. Your role will be also to pilot the use of new technology or architectures, documenting and communicating blue-prints for wider adoption. Your main responsibility will be data and project management including: planning, daily status tracking, accounting and budget management, working closely with business customers, and solution design team to prioritize tasks, infrastructure design covering primarily server, operating system, storage and often database and middleware solutions and gathering requirements from clients, measuring, right-sizing resources and working out "fit for purpose" solutions using standard products and services. Additionally, you will be interacting with application teams in understanding the business requirements and translate that into technical solutions and ensuring quality of implementation, managing growth and capacity, and achieving against performance metrics.
To be an ideal candidate you need to have in-depth functional and technical understanding of the broad IT infrastructure technology stack, hands-on working experience in infrastructure technology as well as solution design in Enterprise IT and ability to design and deliver infrastructure architecture improvements. Good candidate should have very good written and verbal English, strong knowledge and experience in network topology, Database (Oracle/Sybase/SQL), Virtualization Technologies (ESX), and Cirtrix . To be successful candidate should have experience in capacity and performance management, strong customer focus, good communication skills and solid understanding of business application needs.
