Job Description
Responsible for delivery of Infrastructure services within availability, performance, security and process requirements, this especially means:
- Incident resolution and proper escalation
- Performing general systems administrative duties and new installations
- Measurement, monitoring and reporting systems' measures
- Standardizing and Virtualization Management
- Systems Capacity and Performance Management
- Participation in Project, esp. continues improvement, automations
- Maintenance and definition of proper documentation (procedural and technical)
- Storage and network management on supported infrastructure components
- Hardware resources and Lifecycle Management
- Education: MSC level or sufficient relevant job experience
- Good Knowledge of at least one technology area:
Oracle databases (preferred)
Unix (Solaris) systems
Linux systems
- Basic knowledge of following technologies is an advantage:
Windows systems
MSSQL databases
Sybase databases
IBM MQ messaging
Virtualization Technologies (Citrix, VMware, RHEV, OVM)
- Knowledge of Process Management Best Practices (example ITIL) andrelated tooling
- Experience of working in multinational and multicultural organizationswith direct client exposure is an advantage
- Experience of working in finance environment is an advantage
- Base knowledge of networking is an advantage
- Willingness to work with multiple technologies (Database, OperatingSystem, Middleware)
