Requirements:

• Fluent English and French;

• Experience in marketing translations;

• Experience in using CAT tools (knowledge of Translation Workspace or memoQ would be an advantage);

• Higher education in linguistics or minimum 5 years’ experience in translation.

Scope of responsibilities:

• Translating from English into French;

• Choosing proper terminology;

• Qualifying linguist errors and evaluating work of subcontractors;

• Checking translations in terms of content and style;

• Checking compliance of translated texts with the reference materials;

• Correcting linguistic errors and implementing changes in terminology required by quality control;

• Creating and updating glossaries;

• Analyzing customer complaints and cooperating with the clients’ editors in order to solve them;

• Timely implementation of projects;

• Reporting errors noted in the assigned materials and instructions;

• Performing other activities necessary for the proper realization of projects in accordance with the instructions from the manager.
