On this position you will be responsible for:
- Consulting delivery
Accountable for managing the technical quality, maintainability of application/ infrastructure and interfaces.
Initiates proactive and reactive service improvements to ensure the quality of operational processes delivered by internal and external suppliers.
Facilitates IS Supply in incident and problem management by acting as single point of contact at the functional/tactical level for the assigned infrastructure or applications for both colleagues and IS Supply and coordinating the input of the parties in finding solutions to incidents.
- Maintainability and control
Collaborates with IS suppliers with regard to the operational implementation of outsourced activities and/or the current license usage, consistent with existing agreements. Conveys architecture, standards, policies, norms, and guidelines to IS Supply.
- Problem management
Responsible for assessing and providing recommendations relating to trend analyses of incidents, working with the relevant IS Service Coordinators.
Responsible for validation of problem suggestions and recommending prioritization if applicable.
Approves/rejects resolution of problem tickets.
- Change management (related to Maintainability and Control)
Validates or initiates requests for change of corrective, adaptive, perfective or preventive nature.
Conducts IS impact analyses of requests for change in view of architecture, technical quality and maintainability of application/infrastructure.
Creates and/or approves technical specifications for changes based on functional as well as non-functional requirements and functional specifications.
Conducts system tests and accepts/rejects deliverables based on technical specifications.
- Incident management
Correlates information regarding incidents within an individual tower on an exceptional basis, identifying potential patterns and trends.
- IS - Services
Hosting Services.
- Incident, Change or Project
Challenges the IS service providers regarding content and process and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Processes
Performs assigned activities in the service catalog management, change implementation management, release & deployment management, incident and major incident management, event management, service level management, problem management processes to ensure delivery of IS Services.
- Governance
Adheres to IS process framework and governance model. Chairs the Cross Tower SME Meeting.
Requirements:
- Competence in spoken and written English.
- Cultural awareness and the ability to work in a complex, multicultural and global team.
- Be a committed team player.
- Experience of managing IS Hosting Services.
- Will be required to periodically work shifts incorporating either an early start or late finish.
- Previous experience of managing supplier performance is preferred.
- BSc with 6+ years of experience.
