Purpose
IT Asset Management Specialist actively participates in the overall operation of best practices surrounding global hardware and software procurement, installation, maintenance/support, inventory, contract, and financial management. The position leads the daily administration involving both vendor provided and internally developed applications to support our enterprise solutions.
The charter is to provide worldwide support and leadership for Service Management delivery including all application data administration, end user support, requests for new services and strategic direction.
- Participate in establishing and maintaining day-to-day asset tracking processes, policies and procedures
- Support for the global USD suite of tools for IT request, problem & change management
- Analyze proper hardware & software asset life cycle management practices for various platforms supported within the infrastructure
- Support streamlined lifecycle processes, field discovered software activity, and asset set-up in the repository
- Administer system alarms designed to notify product owners, contract negotiators and support engineering staffs for any actions required based on license management criteria established
- Participate in related business projects, as well as enterprise initiatives
- Develop a broad understanding of the business processes in EMEA region
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Typically 3+ years of professional experience
- Knowledge of IT metrics and KPIs, report creation skills
- Experience in IT Asset & Service Management will be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Experience with end user support will be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of business processes (finance, purchasing) will be an advantage
- Available to travel occasionally required

The type of work assumes cooperation with internal IT groups, external vendors, process owners and clients based in multiple countries.
