Job Description
Oracle Configure Price Quote (CPQ) Developer plays a key role in our success. The Developer works with business users, product managers, Salesforce.com administration team, IT resources and third-party implementation partners to implement and maintain the Oracle CPQ solution, and typically has the following responsibilities:
- Develop and support configurations, commerce, integrations, reports, workflow, and custom development in a CPQ environment.
- Completes complex program changes to translate requirement specifications into code.
- Provide technical design to business solutions, direct developers and test the modules.
- Applies application specific technical skills to independently produce deliverables (i.e. specifications, program changes, unit test scripts, documentation, etc.).
- Acquires and utilizes more in-depth business knowledge to support the applications.
- Plans, documents, and executes unit test plans to ensure all code changes meet requirements / specifications.
- Supports programming changes during quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and post implementation to ensure the integrity of application.
- Responds to questions, researches and resolves issues to provide technical support for production applications.
- 5+ years of professional work experience as a Developer or Business Systems Analyst.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business preferred.
- Oracle CPQ Developer experience.
- Background and experience in web or other programming languages (such as HTML, XML, XSLT, Excel Macros, Visual Basic, Perl, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- Experience in SOAP based web services and Rest APIs.
- Knowledge of user interface design and web design constraints
