IT Manager Europe

Key duties include: - Supervise regional IT staff across Europe
- Performs strategic planning functions for region
- Prepares IT budgets and monitors financial performance of recovery centers
- Determines procurement strategies for hardware
- Works closely with Regional management team and Business Group managers to determine needs and ensure appropriate deployment of IT resources
- Provides IT training to end users - Educates end users on IT issues
- Keeps up with technical advancements and matches to local needs
- Manages support requirements for remote offices
- Oversees the LAN resources
- Provides technical transfer between staff
- Networks with peers throughout the firm
- Meets stated SLA goals (90% customer response time for each priority category and an 80% resolution rate)
- Ensures supervised IT staff also meet their stated SLA goals
- Ensures that proper Health & Safety (H&S) guidelines are practiced and maintained by all supervised IT staff
Desired qualifications:
- Significant computer support experience and managerial experience (min. 3 years)
- Fluency in English
- Strong knowledge of microcomputer hardware,software and operating systems
- Knowledge of networking processes
- Strong managerial and communication skills
- Knowledge of budgets and financial management of recovery systems
