IT Project Manager

Requirements:

• Qualified PRINCE2, PMI or equivalent qualification
• 1-2 years of experience minimum with significant project management implementation from beginning to end (in an international environment)
• Sound understanding and practical experience in project management methodologies
• Proven ability in successful practical project delivery and customer satisfaction in addition to following standard techniques
• Ability to identify hidden risks and see beyond the obvious to ensure a superlative customer experience
• Proven ability to deliver with minimal supervision whilst informing and ensuring alignment with wider IT objectives
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to have empathy with and create a professional working relationship with a wide range of stakeholders
• Individuals with PMO (Project Management Office) experience leading multiple projects and leading multiple Project Managers are of particular interest
• Experience with Mobile Application development or Data Analytics or also of particular interest

Responsibilities:

• Scoping, designing and delivering projects from beginning to end successfully on time and on budget (projects include a wide range of large or medium sized technology projects including mobile application development, data analytics, process improvement and automation, user experience enhancements, applications systems selection and roll-outs, e.g. document management and travel systems, and roll-outs– including on premise development and cloud solutions.)
• Creating full range of project deliverables including project charters, project plan, resource planning and ensuring on time progress throughout the project cycle
• Ensuring all project risks are identified and handled; handling ambiguity and overcoming obstacles
• Take full ownership for a project area but ensure project progress and issues are communicated efficiently and fully to wider PMO group and CIO
• Ensure Governance processes are followed properly
• Ensure projects are value adding and ‘delight’ the end users
