- The IT Services Analyst will write, test, document, support and maintain computer programs in the area of Lansa/RPG from supplied or own developed specifications in accordance with agreed standards and customer requirements
- Understanding system design and developing source code to meet user requirements
- Maintaining system and supporting users as a Tier 2 and 3 consultant
- Contacting business analyst to provide an input to feasibility assessments, development of system requirements and design, risk assessments and mitigation plans, integrated testing activities and pre- and post-release activities such as configuration, data migrations and handover to operational support
- Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience
- Fluency in English
- Functional/Technical experience in iSeries technologies with knowledge/experience in RPG for iSeries with good understanding of a layered architecture (data-dictionary – database – functionality – user interface), navigation and basic configuration in AS400 (file definitions, job maintenance, SQL, Query Builder, DB2)
- Strong interest in a broad area of business processes
- Ability to define logical process flows
- Ability to work in a highly governed IT environment, subject to regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments
- Familiarity with structured project management methodologies and planning is a plus
- Familiarity with regulated application environments (SOX, FDA, SDLC,...) is a plus
- Familiarity with 6sigma, Lean are a plus
- Experience with working in a large matrix organization, preferably with global/virtual team experience
